"Come on come on." Dean said, shaking his leg staring at his alarm clock. One minute until 7 am. Before the alarm could even let out one annoying beep, Dean slammed his hand down on the snooze button and quickly got up from his bed. He walked to his bathroom, already taking off his shirt, showing his well toned back. He turned the nobs on his shower, and brushed his teeth as the water warmed up. Rinsing his mouth, he smiled at his reflection in the mirror after he spat out the water. Dean showered as quickly as he could, excited for the day ahead of him. As he was putting his towel around his waist, after his five minute shower, his phone rang. Dean looked up, a curious expression crossing his face. "Who could be calling me…?" He wondered aloud. He walked to his nightstand and grabbed his phone, checking his caller ID, and a huge grin crossed his face. "Hey Sammy! What’s up?"
"Oh good you’re up. Jess and I are almost ready, Cas is going to pick you up, kay?" Sam said from the other line.
"Just like we planned." Dean said smile growing wider. "Save me a beer." He added before hanging up. Dean got dressed as quickly as he could, and packed his backpack with extra clean clothes, not even thinking about having a slice of the pie Cas and Jess made him yesterday. Just as he zipped up his bag, there was a knock at the door.
"Dean, are you ready?" Cas yelled through the door.
"Yea! I’ll be right there Cas." Dean yelled back and grabbed his bag and opened the door, to show Cas wearing a white V-Neck and white swimming trunks. Dean smirked, deciding not to comment on the lack of colour in Cas’ clothing, and his lack of trench coat. "Lets hit the road." Dean and Cas got into the impala, even though Cas came in his own car, he knew Dean would want to drive his baby, so he gave him that. As soon as the impala purred to life, ACDC was blaring and Cas smirked. As Dean drove along the highway, he turned the music down slightly, "Are you looking forward to today?" He asked Cas. Cas smiled and nodded.
"Today will be exciting, for sure." Dean nodded in agreement, and pulled off the highway. He sped up to get to his destination faster, they were almost there. Just as he hit 70 his phone rang again, sighing he slowed down and grabbed his phone, again checking the caller ID. "Hey Jess, whatcha need?"
"Sam wanted to let you know we’re here, he’s unloading the car now too, and I’ve got a nice cold beer waiting for you." Even through the phone he could tell Jessica was smiling. He loved her to death, and so glad that Sam had her in his life. He could never ask for more. Well except maybe for her to make more pie.
"Cas and I are just turning into the parking lot now, we’ll be right there." Dean told her, and hung up. Dean found his brother and soon to be sister in law and pulled in right next to them. "Beer, burgers, babes and the beach, all with my favourite people. What could be better?" Dean said smiling as he got out of his car.
"Finally you made it." Sam said leaning on his car smiling.
"Hey I’m on time, for once!" Dean said teasingly as he grabbed his bag out of the trunk. Jessica came over and gave Dean and Cas hugs, and handed Dean his beer. "Aaah, that’s some good stuff right there, thanks Jess."
"Any time Dean. How about you and Cas go find us a spot? Sammy and I will be there in a second, we just need to finish getting everything out of the car." Jess said as she grabbed out the picnic basket, along with her big floppy sun hat from the trunk of a dark blue chevy camaro. Dean nodded and went with Cas and found the perfect spot on the beach.
"This is very nice. I can’t wait to have some hamburgers." Cas said smiling at Dean. "Thank you for inviting me to come with you three."
"Don’t mention it, we all love you and wanted you to come with." Dean smiled at Cas as he spread out the beach towel to lay on. Before he laid down he took off his shirt, and pants, so he was wearing his swim trunks, which were black and had dark blue decals on them.
"Great spot!" Sam said as he came up behind them with Jess. Sam had already changed into his swim trunks which were brown. And Jess wore a pink and white bikini.
"You guys go and play, I’ll have lunch ready soon." Jess told the three men. Sam kissed her on the cheek before grabbing the football to play catch with Dean and Cas.
The rest of the day just got better and better for the four of them. When they returned home, they all decided to watch a movie, eat some pie that Jess taught Cas to make, and drink beer. The day went by fast for them, but they enjoyed it, and will remember it always
